Theatre Bizarre extended beyond its annual flagship event through a year-round activation program that included festival installations, ticketed venue events, and large-scale public appearances. Venues and events included the Rust Belt Market, Pig and Whiskey DIY Festival in Ferndale, Cass Corridor and Dally in the Alley pop-ups, and multiple years at Detroit Maker Faire, where the Theatre Bizarre installation received an Editor's Choice Award from Make Magazine. The Theatre Bizarre Orchestra also performed live at various clubs and venues through the TBO Uptown program, bringing the event's core performers and musicians into intimate settings throughout the year.
